Life Cell Commercial Flotation Raft is a safety device that, as well as being used as a lifesaving float, has storage for holding other key survival items such as EPIRBs, flares, torches, whistles and whatever else you choose to keep.
By ensuring all safety equipment is all in the one place when abandoning the Boat is your only option, the raft is designed to reduce the amount of lives lost at sea.
These rafts have been officially approved by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) for commercial models for use in the commercial sector.
Following testing completed by VicLab on 23/06/2015 and subsequent discussion and analysis of the results, they have been shown to meet the requirements for use as a buoyant appliance in accordance with Clause 4.7 in Part C7A of the National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV). Additionally, all of the devices are suited to be used as a container for emergency and safety equipment on commercial vessels.
Designed for larger boats, the Life Cell raft is extremely buoyant and has plenty of room to store all your essential safety equipment. An external recess will also Hold your EPRIR upright in the event that you need to activate it once in the water. The raft is made from closed cell PU foam and constructed from UV resistant flame retardant polyethylene (PE). Mounting bracket is also included, but safety equipment can be purchased separately.
It has the capacity to support two people.
