AIS - Automatic Identification System is a way of identifying a vessel's position, course, speed and freight through marine VHF digital information. Marine & Ship AIS is particularly useful in identifying targets that may be obscured by poor visibility, or behind larger targets like low island and large ships that marine radar can't penetrate.
