GME MT603FG 406MHz Manual/Water Activated EPIRB with Auto Release & GPS is a Class 2 EPIRB with a 6 year battery life and comprehensive self testing functions. Its GPS Receiver functions on 66 Channels and reduces the search area down to 100m. Combined with a 121.5MHz VHF homing beacon, this dramatically decreases search time.
Auto release cradle deploys and activates the unit when submerged to at least 1m. The water activation triggers when the unit is out of its bracket and in the water, with the manual activation present for use at the boater's discretion.

- Self testing functions:
- Internal diagnostics with visual and audio user feedback (UHF test message, inverted synchronisation compatible with portable beacon testers)
- GPS self test with visual and audio user feedback (UHF test message containing GPS coordinates)
- COSPAS/SARSAT Certified. Internationally Approved For Worldwide Operation (C/S T.001)
- Meets or exceeds specifications in AS/NZS 4280.1
