Quicksilver 80W-90 Premium Gear Lube

Quicksilver 80W-90 Premium Gear Lube is designed for use in all outboard lower units and jet pumps below 75 hp.

This Gear lube provides the proper corrosion protection and lubrication needs of marine Gear cases not found in automotive-base oil.

It provides maxium protection against:

• Water intrusion advanced emulsifiers prevent foaming to protect gears if water enters the Gear housing.
• Wear tackifiers and extreme pressure additives improves oil film adhesion and protect againts excessive wear.

   

Note: Mercury recommends changing the Gear lube at least once a year (prior to storage), or every 100 hrs of operation.
