Details

SSC62 Steering Cables are SSC62 Type push-in quick connect cables - no tools required.

Cable connects via a quick connect hand pin that is easy to remove and replace. Stainless Steel cable outlet end minimises corrosion. Convenient 7/8" tilt tube mount nut as per ABYC/NMMA and BIA standards. Fits directly to TFX rotary helms.

Minimum bend radius: 200mm
Minimum Channel thickness: 23mm

How to measure Cable Length
Length is measured from the Helm insert nut (where the pin holds the cable) to the tilt tube attachment nut, plus 450mm. Y + 450mm = cable length.

Measure A, centre of steering wheel to >Gunwale, plus B, dash to Transom, plus C, >Gunwale to centre of Transom.
Cable length for Transom, stringer and splashwell mount = A + B + C minus 150mm.
Cable length for tilt tube mount = A + B + C plus 150mm.
