The International Game Fish Association is the leading authority on angling pursuits and the keeper of the most current World Record fishing catches by Fish categories.
Sport fishermen must abide by the IGFA's rules, which have been put in place to promote ethical and sporting angling practices, and to provide basic angling guidelines for use in fishing tournaments.
Based in Florida, the IGFA is also passionate about aquatic habitat conservation, and cooperates with marine biologists all over the world.
