SmartTow

Mercury SmartTow is an RPM-based cruise control with assists with pulling water skiers out of the water, taking out the guesswork every time.

A component of the Mercury SmartCraft suite, SmartTow works together with the SmartCraft Digital Throttle and Shift (DTS) system, keeping the pull smooth, consistent and automatic every time. The driver won't have to take their hands off the wheel.

It allows you to set up customised launch profiles for pulling skiers, tubers, and >Wake boarders.

There are 5 different launch profiles, ranging from Profile 1 (easy) to Profile 5 (slalom).

To utilise the cruise control, choose an RPM above idle and Smart Tow will Hold the RPM whether you aretowing or simply out cruising. For Launch Control you simply select theintensity of acceleration rate from the five profiles to determine how quickly yourrider will be pulled out of the water. Then enter your RPM end point, and Smart Tow will do the rest.
