Voltages required on a boat vary depending on the application and can be a challenge if not managed properly. From AC to DC there is always going to be an application that requires something different. Air Condtioning and household appliances need an AC source. Winches and bow thrusters need 24v and lighting and communication sytems 12v.
Using DC-DC converters and DC-AC inverters achieve this in a safe and convenient way.
