Specifically designing for the marine market for over 20 years, the Avtex Range of quality LED TV''s are manufactured to offer outstanding crisp high definition viewing in two receiving models, the HD Digital TV and the HD Digital TV with Satellite Decoder.

The Australian digital video broadcast platform allows programs to be transmited in high definition (HD). The HD Digital TV receives HD signals through the built-in Avtex DVB-T2 tuner. This is done through a standard aerial, without the need for extra equipment.

Alternatively, digital broadcast can also be received through satellite. The HD Digital TV with Satellite Decoder is specifically equipped with an in-built DVB-S2 tuner as well as a DVB-T2 tuner, enabling it to receive programs through a satellite Antenna and standard aerial. This gives it the ability to accept a CAM (conditional access module) which allows access to certain pay per view Channels and the ability to view Foxtel and VAST Channels (with the appropriate cards).

Both are designed specifically to suit the marine and outdoor leisure industry from inception, they use 12/24 volt DC and 240 volt AC operation for convenience. With years of trouble free operation withstanding vibrations, knocks, movement, and humidity and temperature changes.

For further ease of use, the Avtex TV''s also feature a one button tuning system which will automatically tune, store and sort all available television and radio stations at the touch of a button. This is handy when traveling long distances around Australia, as local station broadcasting frequencies change.

Other features for both televisions include an integrated digital tuner which displays Channel information without the need for an external set top box, built in CD/DVD player for entertainment, and a USB Port connecting to an external memory stick which you can both play media off or record onto.

Both available in 18.5" and 21.5" screens, the HD Digital TV with Satellite Decoder also has a 23" version for widescreen high definition viewing.
