As the warmer months are now upon us, it''s time to start thinking about the outdoors again and more specifically your garden.

Unfamiliar with this type of plant? Here are some fast facts:

• As the fastest growing plant on earth, some can grow up to a Foot a day
• Converting 35% more CO² into oxygen than regular trees, it also continuously grows after harvest, without replanting
• Many uses Range from construction to medicinal purposes, fabric and biofuel. Some is even edible, making an envoironmentally friendly and sustainable product

There are plenty of innovative ways to use this marvellously versatile building material in your home, here are just a few:

• You could create your own hydroponics set up, drilling holes and planting inside large >Bamboo poles
• Build a lattice type set up with smaller >Bamboo for your climbing plants
• Construct some >Bamboo furniture, sound screens or wind breaks

The opportunities are endless! We had quite a bit of difficulty sourcing large diameter, straight, high quality poles. Hence why it has taken us so long to get them back in stock.

As part of our preparation for shipment, we had the centre core of the poles removed so that they wouldn''t split due to the temperature change.

We have six different sizes available 2.9m in length, ranging from 16-22mm in diameter, up to 90-100mm.

Due to their length they cannot be posted and can only be sent by road freight or collected from our store in Collingwood.
