Navionics Silver Maps for Lowrance Elite 4 series
Navionics has released today, affordable Navionics Silver XL9 All Australian Maps to suit Lowrance Mark 4 and Elite 4 Series Combos and Plotters.
The base map installed in the Lowrance Mark4 & Elite4 units are quite unreliable, as they show the Australian coast in a straight line presentation and it was always expected by the manufacturer that they could be enhanced with Gold or Silver Maps as required by the users needs. With the Navionics Silver Map, a detailed coast Line provides reliable data together with depth contours out to 10m and Channel markers.
These maps will appeal to kayakers and many cruising sailors alike, as they reperesent great value. It should be noted that while they can be upgraded to Gold maps, they do not qualify for Freshest data (Community Data).
