Vic Fish Kids Program
If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids, Victorian Fisheries are running the Vic Fish Kids Program with a series of FREE events.
It’s a perfect opportunity to get kids out and about and into fishing. There’ll be six events happening across Victoria through September to October – so have a look and see what’s on near you!
What’s Happening
There'll be heaps to do for the whole family. Each event location will be stocked prior with catchable size rainbow trout from the Snobs Creek hatchery.
Clinics will commence at 10am and midday, run by volunteers from angling clubs and Fishcare. (Parental supervision essential).
Learn to cast, how to tie knots and what to do with a Fish when you catch one. Once you’re done, there’s also a free photo booth so you can immortalise your catch of a lifetime!
Victorian Fisheries be also giving away 200 rod and reel outfits at each event to encourage beginners to stick with the hobby and try it again another time with family and friends.
