Simrad V3100 Class B AIS Black Box boasts increased transmission power and incorporates the SOTDMA technology usually found on Class A AIS units, enhancing the reliability and Range beyond that of other Class B AIS.

• SOTDMA technology increases update speeds giving more accurate locations
• Self-organising transmission technology allows the unit to 'negotiate' with other AIS units to find a regular transmission timeslot, increasing reliability in heavy traffic zones
• Transmits updates based on speed every five seconds, up to six times the reporting Frequency of standard Class B AIS
• Black box designed to work with Simrad Multifunction Displays as well as other NMEA2000/NMEA0183 marine electronics. Can also output to a PC via USB
