Navico released this week, 4G >Broadband >Radar in their popular Simrad and Lowrance brands. Boasting 50% more Range and new revolutionary Beam Sharpening technology provides the sharpest possible >Radar images.

4G BroadbandRadar is the first dome Antenna to employ Beam sharpening. This enables a new feature called Target Separation Control which improves Azimuth Resolution - or effective Antenna horizontal beamwidth. The result is up to 2x Resolution of any other 18" dome and equivalent to 3''6" open array >Radar.

In the Simrad version, when connect to an NSO or NSE display, simultaneous dual Range, anywhere from 50m to 36nm and high speed 48rpm is possible.
