Genesis Live is a real-time feature, available on selected Lowrance products, where the unit creates an overlay of depth contour mapping based on live Sonar soundings. This is particularly useful in rivers and lakes where there may not be any existing maps.

It features on the following units:

•   Lowrance HDS Live, HDS Carbon & HDS Gen3

•   Lowrance Elite Ti2 & Elite Ti

•   Lowrance Hook Reveal

Note: Software Version 18.2 or greater required

The Genesis Live Sonar soundings are recorded onto and viewed from a memory card. All you need is a blank micro-SD card (32mB or less) inserted into the unit.

Once the unit has a lock on the bottom the option to overlay Genesis Live, data will be available in the overlay section of the menu. All you have to do is turn on the Genesis Live overlay.

You can control contour transparency, density of contours drawn on the screen – 1⁄2, 1 or 2 Foot intervals – depth and safety shading, colour palettes and more.

If at any time the memory card is removed or runs out of space, the feature will turn itself off and the option is disabled in the menu.
