Simrad NAIS-400 Class B AIS and NSPL-400 Antenna Splitter

The new NAIS-400 Class B AIS transponder and NSPL-400 Antenna Splitter, integrates perfectly with the Simrad Range of chartplotter/multifunction display and VHF devices, helping boaters to navigate the waterways with ease.

These products simultaneously make it easier to get a complete picture of your boat''s surroundings, by overlaying the AIS vessel tracking awareness and safety data, on the multifunction systems'' Cartography.

The fully integrated Class-B AIS Transponder allows boaters to automatically share and update their position on the water. This works through the automatic digital time-sharing technology which transmits >Static information (including vessel name, call sign and type etc.) as well as dynamic data (such as Course, distance and speed) between ship-to-ship, and ship-to-shore traffic stations.

The NAIS-400 Class B AIS transponder, when connected with a compatible chartplotter, will show the position and movement of all AIS vessels within Range, helping to identify possible hazards and danger, when navigating busy shipping lanes and ports.

Providing the most safety on the water, the integrated 50-channel GPS Receiver and multiple connection options allow for greater flexibility through the NMEA0183, NMEA2000 USB and NMEA0183 multiplexing choices. The two systems combined use a single Antenna for VHF/AIS/FM radio, as well as operating at extremely low power levels, keeping consumption to a minimum, while maximising the efficiency of use.

Waterproof to an IPX7 submersible standard, the dual system allows you to feel safe and alert on the water, by providing you with the most up to date information on your surroundings.
