There's no need to select either CHIRP or StructureScan like with today’s SonarHub module, as both are already built into the HDS-12 Gen3 Combo, as is the integrated wireless connectivity for GoFree wireless plus other Lowrance apps coming in the very near future. HDS 12 Gen3 also integrates with Lowrance SmartSteer to control your MotorGuide Xi5 Trolling motor through the Pinpoint GPS gateway.

Full touchscreen control with Multi-touch support allows you to touch for item selections, Drag items in route planning, panning charts etc. and pinch to zoom controls for Chart zooming and Sonar Range adjustment.
