There's no need to select either CHIRP or StructureScan like with today’s SonarHub module, as both are already built into the HDS-7 Gen3 Combo, as is the integrated wireless connectivity for GoFree wireless plus other Lowrance apps coming in the very near future. HDS 7 Gen3 also integrates with Lowrance SmartSteer to control your MotorGuide Xi5 Trolling motor through the Pinpoint GPS gateway.

Full touchscreen control with Multi-touch support allows you to touch for item selections, Drag items in route planning, panning charts etc. and pinch to zoom controls for Chart zooming and Sonar Range adjustment.
