Simrad BSM-3 >Broadband CHIRP Echosounder is designed for professionals and serious sportfishing enthusiasts, with CHIRP technology and its 3,000m (10,000ft) working Range, meaning you can venture further offshore with the confidence to find the Fish you’re looking for.
The BSM3 is built for tough offshore conditions, with rugged all-aluminum housing. New Transducer connectors make installation and service easier, with no need to open the case or wire anything by hand when using Airmar’s latest Range of transducers.
Simrad BSM 3 works with a broad Range of Airmar transducers, including its latest wide‐angle CHIRP series. These Transducers provide a distinct advantage over traditional narrower Beam angles when looking for targets in the upper water column. With a wider coverage area, fish targets are easier to see, appearing larger and more distinct. Wide Beam Transducers also search a larger section of the bottom, making it easier to find structures and track the seafloor.
The BSM‐3 is optimised for the Simrad HEROiC user interface, and is fully compatible with Simrad Yachting’s Range of multifunction displays. Easy-to-use features such as bottom colour tracking and easy split zoom controls, as well as a selection of scroll speeds and Transmit Power settings, further enhance the BSM-3 >Broadband CHIRP Echosounder.
