Lowrance have released their new Elite 4 & Mark 4 >HDI Series Fishfinders and chartplotter Combos, providing you with the option of >Hybrid Dual Imaging (HDI) at a space-saving size and even more affordable price.

Replacing five previous models, these three all feature a 4.3 inch screen with 480 x 272px Resolution, which is 70% more Pixels and 36% more useable screen area than the previous Elite 4 and Mark 4 models.

The new models include:

The >HDI units feature an in-built GPS Antenna, high-definition mapping options and the Lowrance exclusive >HDI technology which combines >Broadband Sounder and DownScan Imaging for the best possible view beneath your Boat. Built-in to the new Lowrance >HDI Skimmer transducer design, >Broadband Sounder technology is ideal for marking fish arches and tracking lure action, while DownScan Imaging provides easy-to-understand, picture-like views of structure and bottom detail. All, also compatible with existing blue-plug transducers.

Exclusive >Trackback functionality allows anglers to >scroll back in recorded Sonar history to review structure, transitions and Fish targets and pinpoint locations with a Waypoint (on chartplotter models) — eliminating the need to circle back and retrace their path.

Mapping options for the chartplotter models include Navionics XL9 Gold Charts or CMAP MAXN BDS, with all >HDI chartplotter models, which are also compatible with the new online Insight Genesis map creation service, allowing users to make their own custom, high-resolution contour, >Bottom Hardness and vegetation maps from recorded Sonar logs.

The easy-to-use menu system with quick one-thumb operation and multi-window display options, show a variety of Sonar imaging/chartplotter screen configurations, found through preset page layouts which include a three-panel view showing Chart, >Broadband Sounder and DownScan Imaging, all on the one split screen.

Additional options include the Elite 4 >HDI sun cover to protect your device from the harsh rays and all MFDs come with a one year warranty offered through the Lowrance Advantage Service Program.
